“I am excited about doing my cricket course and becoming a coach. I think I can help more kids come off the streets and show their talent through cricket.”

Events

Throughout 2010 we held many fantastic fundraising events in aid of Pitch Perfect. In 2011 we will be pooling our efforts to bring one significant event that delivers an incredible night for all those that attend, along with raising thousands of pounds for Pitch Perfect.

Next event: Passion and Performance Gala Evening
Wednesday 16th November 2011, LSO St Luke’s, London EC1

The LSO and the Cricket Foundation will be holding an exclusive dinner at LSO St Luke’s to support their educational programmes, LSO On Track and StreetChance, giving children from some of London’s most deprived boroughs a chance to get involved in inspirational sport and music making.

The evening will begin with a champagne reception, followed by a fabulous three-course dinner. Former England Cricket Team Captains Michael Atherton OBE, Alec Stewart OBE, Mark Butcher and Allan Lamb have confirmed their attendance to the event. Music will be provided by world-class clarinetist Andrew Marriner, who will perform a short recital with the LSO String Quartet.

LSO St Luke's is an 18th-century Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church, restored to become the home of the LSO's community and music education programme, LSO Discovery. Located on London's Old Street, EC1, this stylish and sophisticated venue plays host to a diverse selection of high profile events, recordings, concerts and workshops, alongside LSO rehearsals.

Tickets at £250 each / Tables of 10 places available at £2,500 (VAT exempt) including a champagne reception, performance and dinner
